Questions in random order that I ask myself: 

• What do I want to see?
• Where do I want to go? 
• Why do I want to go there?
• What blogs are out there?
• How can this blog stand out?

Researching weather predictions and locations lead the direction of this blog’s March opening. During that process a realization emerges that the idea has a time element best suited to a January opening.  TBD (Hello January!?)

When weather and road conditions are safe, then short distance day trips, I feel, can do wonders for one’s mental health. Thus, my plan is to search for areas that exudes New England charm in Winter. As an artist, my travels will always include a look-see from an art heart. 

The best resource to help determine the Where, after a map, is the Internet, Wikipedia, Images and the News. Wikipedia provides the overall background. Images sets a visual comfort. The News updates with current events and atmosphere. 

Once those are done, practical issues, locating a place to eat and public facilities become number one. 

A travel blog doesn’t have to be all about the destination. This blog is a get up and go someplace style.
